Use Your Marketing to Give Back-3 Simple Ideas



Advertising and marketing has evolved in recent years to align more closely with the younger generations desire for organic philanthropic efforts in all aspects of life.  This is a win-win for businesses and communities.  It is my opinion that we are all required to give back to the world around us.  Here are a few simple ways to incorporate giving into your marketing campaigns.
  1. Partner with a local non-profit:  Team up with an organization that you care about and give a portion of the proceeds from specific campaigns to that organization.  
  2. Throw a party!  Everyone loves a good event.  Get creative and plan an event spotlighting the relationship between your brand and the non-profit. 
  3. If it works with your product and branding, invite non-profits to be a part of your marketing.  For example, if your brand is organic dog products, partner with the local humane society to feature adoption-ready dogs enjoying your products.  Highlight the relationship and encourage people to adopt.  
These initiatives will motivate your customers to spend a little extra in addition to building brand trust and loyalty; all with a focus of giving back to the community around you.
